Not provided Join a busy inpatient critical care team in Eureka, CA, providing overnight adult ICU coverage (12-hour nights, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM). This locum tenens role begins July 20, 2026 and continues ongoing to supplement existing staff. The unit is a 12-bed, Level III trauma center with stroke certification and uses EPIC.

Clinical responsibilities:

Manage adult medical, surgical, and trauma patients (approx. 5 patients/night) Typical case mix: 50% medicine, 25% surgery, 25% trauma Common procedures: ventilator management; evaluation and management of acute and blood pressure emergencies Collaborate with a team of 3 intensivists and 2-3

Requirements:

Active CA medical license Board certified or board eligible in Critical Care/Internal Medicine DEA registration BLS and ACLS certifications
