Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 50-day assignment in California, commencing Jan 4, 2027. The schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, focusing on comprehensive patient evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans, and continuous monitoring for both hematology and oncology patients within a collaborative care environment. Responsibilities and Duties Conduct comprehensive evaluations for new oncology patients. Assess patient history, labs, imaging, and pathology to formulate accurate diagnoses. Develop and manage individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based care. Enter and manage Beacon infusion orders, including updates and modifications. Provide ongoing monitoring through scheduled follow-up visits. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care delivery. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record. Additional Information Board Certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology is required. The electronic medical record system utilized is Epic. This role involves primarily outpatient clinic duties (95%) with some inpatient responsibilities (5%). Expect to see approximately 16 patients per day. The practice is composed of 40% Hematology and 60% Oncology cases.
