Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, including hospital and outpatient experience, and demonstrate proficiency in managing complex patient cases across various settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality care through innovative practices such as telehealth and clinical research, while adhering to the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks. Provide acute and chronic disease management, including pain management, infectious disease care, and post-acute care planning. Administer injections, perform suturing, and utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety. Manage airway and ventilator support for inpatient and ICU patients within Level I and Level II trauma centers or neonatal units. Coordinate diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, laboratory data collection, and diagnostic coding (ICD-10/ICD-9). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, hospice & palliative medicine, and rehabilitation efforts. Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in clinical research trials or quality improvement initiatives aimed at advancing evidence-based practices. Provide triage services in urgent care or emergency room settings, ensuring timely intervention for acute conditions. Support telehealth consultations utilizing EMR systems for remote patient assessment and follow-up care. Experience 1+ years of professional experience Skills Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for documentation and data management. Experience with botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, esthetic laser procedures, or other outpatient cosmetic interventions is a plus. Strong background in hospital medicine including ICU experience, ventilator management, and critical care procedures. Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes and ICD coding for diagnoses classification. Familiarity with hospital protocols related to infection control, radiation therapy support, dialysis procedures, and tube feeding management. Expertise in acute pain management techniques and medication administration protocols. Competence in performing physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and patient assessments across diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, neonatal units, and senior care environments. Ability to interpret physiology knowledge related to cardiology (cardiac catheterization), anatomy (spinal tap), and respiratory support techniques. Excellent communication skills for health coaching, addiction counseling, family planning discussions, and patient education initiatives. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within hospital settings such as trauma centers or teaching hospitals while adhering to NCQA standards for outpatient clinics. Pay:
$150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
