Job Description

  • Gastroenterology Opening in Napa, CA
  • San Francisco 50m Full-time, Permanent We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a permanent, outpatient-focused position in Napa, California. Join an established practice with strong support staff and a consistent patient volume.
Call Requirement:
7-10 days per month
    Patient Volume:
    Approximately 12 patients per shift
      Setting:
      Outpatient practice
        EMR:
        Epic
          Support Staff Includes:
          • 1 Medical Assistant
          • 1 PA/NP
          • 3 Office Staff
          Trauma Level:
          III
            Board Requirement:
            Board Eligible (minimum) or Board Certified
            • Competitive compensation package Candidates must be comfortable performing a wide range of gastroenterology procedures, including:
            • Upper GI Endoscopy, Biopsy, Foreign body removal, Fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), with injection of varices, with PEG, and small bowel biopsy
            • Lower GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy (with biopsy and excision of polyp),
            Preferred Skills:
            ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic), Sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid), and Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
