JOB DESCRIPTION

General Description A board certified or board eligible Pediatric physician providing outpatient evaluation, diagnosis and treatment to Scripps Coastal Medical Center patients, representing the highest standards for clinical capability, professional education, quality improvement and overall patient care. Key Responsibilities Provides clinical care with emphasis on the whole patient including not only the medical needs, but the cognitive, psychological, functional and social needs. Coordinates care management proactively working with the healthcare team to produce good outcomes. Participates in quality assurance activities. Takes call and shares other duties as determined by the Site Physician Lead, CMO and/or President of the Group. Participates in clinical program development. Attributes Ability to function effectively within the medical group. Ability to work as schedule determined. Objective judgment. Committed to highest clinical standards.
