Job Description
CHOC Specialists is a private pediatric subspecialty group with 26 pediatric subspecialties. The group practices at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) which is a premier healthcare system based in Orange County, Calif. About Pediatric Subspecialty Faculty (PSF) Pediatric Subspecialty Faculty (PSF) is a private pediatric subspecialty group, composed of more than 450 physicians and advanced practice providers across 28 pediatric subspecialties. PSF is part of CHOC Children's Specialists, a medical foundation. PSF providers practice at Rady Children's Health- Orange County, a nationally recognized pediatric healthcare system with state-of-the-art hospitals in Orange and Mission Viejo, multiple specialty and primary care clinics, and a robust pediatric residency program.

Invasive neurophysiology Brain-computer interface research Closed-loop DBS technology AI and advanced data analytics Deep brain stimulation outcomes research Clinical trials Genetic therapies Medication outcomes studies Translational neuroscience initiatives Multidisciplinary collaborative pediatric movement disorders research Teaching opportunities include participation in resident and medical student education, divisional educational conferences, and broader academic programming through RCH-OC and UCI. Candidate Qualifications MD or DO degree Current California Medical License or eligibility for California licensure Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Neurology Current DEA registration Movement Disorders expertise or strong clinical interest preferred Experience with multidisciplinary pediatric neuroscience care strongly preferred Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills Commitment to family-centered pediatric care, teaching, and clinical excellence Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, referring physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals Compensation & Benefits Pediatric Subspecialty Faculty offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including: Competitive compensation CME allowance Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution, independent of salary deduction Academic and research opportunities through UCI affiliationSalary Range:
$216,300- $281,190 Compensation is determined by multiple factors, including experience, education, skills, internal equity, and position requirements.
