Opportunity Highlights Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:15 AM (first patient) - 4:30 PM (last appointment); No weekends; No on-call.
Specific coverage dates needed:
Sept 14-18, Sept 21-25 Oct 5-9, Oct 12-16, Oct 19-23, Oct 26-30 Nov 2-6, Nov 9-13, Nov 16-20, Nov 23-25, Nov 30-Dec 4 Dec 7-11, Dec 14-18, Dec 21-24, Dec 28-31
Job Setting:
Hospital; Maximum 2 telemedicine providers per day
Types of Cases:
Oncology/Hematology - all tumor types; follow-up visits; all aspects of diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment of Hematology/Oncology patients. MD oversight for Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services. Infusion Center services include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood/platelet transfusions, hormone therapy, antibiotic therapy, rheumatoid arthritis injections, and therapeutic phlebotomies. Approximately 15-20 patients per day.
Credentialing:
30-60 days; must be available to start
ASAP EMR
iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)
Support Staff:
1 clinic RN, 2 MAs, 2 front office clerks, 1 quality analyst/billing, 10 infusion
RNs Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology (Required); must also be currently practicing
Certifications:
Fellowship (Required); DEA (Required); ACLS (Required only if requesting Moderate Sedation Privileges); PALS (Required only if treating Pediatric Patients requiring Moderate Sedation)
Licensure:
