Orthopedic Total Joint/Adult Reconstructive Surgeon - Full-Time Opening in Redwood City, California Leading the future of health care Kaiser Permanente / The Permanente Medical Group The Permanente Medical Group is recruiting a BE/BC Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Total Joint/Adult Reconstructive surgeon to join our team in Redwood City . Join our collegial group of 2 Total Joint surgeons, 2 Sports surgeons, 1 Shoulder/Elbow Surgeon, and 1 Hand Surgeon. Elective surgical practice is 95%+ total joints with routine and complex primary and revision cases available with mentorship. OR is 1-2 days per week and call is 1:7. Call is community-level trauma with rare after-hours cases & call-ins with red room time available. High rates of outpatient Total Joints (>90%) with excellent infrastructure of care in place. Robotics are available if desired. Hospital and outpatient office facilities are new and updated. Located in the middle of the San Francisco Bay Area peninsula, half-way between San Francisco and San Jose, 30 minutes from the beach and 3 hours from the snow.
