Prior dermatology experience is not required. THE OPPORTUNITY

We are specifically looking for a physician with a strong foundation in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine who has an interest in dermatology and wants to make a meaningful career transition. The physician will join our established Rocklin clinic and work alongside an experienced dermatology team while developing proficiency in medical and procedural dermatology. Training and clinical progression will be structured around the physician's prior experience and demonstrated competency. As proficiency develops, the physician's practice may include: General medical dermatology Full-body skin examinations Skin cancer screening and surveillance Evaluation of new and changing lesions Acne and rosacea Eczema and psoriasis Other inflammatory and infectious skin conditions Benign and malignant skin lesions Cryotherapy Shave and punch biopsies Electrodessication and curettage Surgical excisions Other office-based dermatologic procedures Our goal is to develop the right physician into a highly capable dermatology provider who can build a long-term practice and patient panel with Halo Skin Institute.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will have: MD or DO degree Residency training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Board certification or board eligibility preferred Current or eligible unrestricted California medical license Strong general medical knowledge and clinical judgment Excellent bedside manner and communication skills Comfort with outpatient medicine Interest in procedural medicine Ability and desire to learn a new specialty Strong work ethic and efficiency Collaborative, team-oriented approach Genuine interest in building a long-term career in dermatology

DERMATOLOGY EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED

Starting Pay Scale:

$200,000•250,000 base salary during training period

Post Training Pay Scale:

$250,000•350,000 base salary/draw + productivity incentive with expected total annual earnings of $300,000•$600,000+ based on collections.

Pay:

$300,000.00•$600,000.00 per year
