Physician - MD Cypress Healthcare Partners - 3.3 Salinas, CA Job Details Full-time $120 - $150 an hour 4 days ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications BLS Certification Care documentation Workers' compensation insurance knowledge DEA License Medical License Managing patient records Full Job Description Doctors on Duty (www.doctorsonduty.com) is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic full-time or Part-time Urgent Care physician with a strong background in Workers' Compensation (evaluation and treatment), Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Family Practice training, and Emergency Medicine. The role involves delivering timely care for non-life-threatening conditions, conducting occupational health assessments, and managing work-related injuries in compliance with California workers' compensation guidelines. We provide fast and affordable medical services at several locations throughout California's Central Coast, including Monterey, Salinas, and Santa Cruz. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a high-volume urgent care setting Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of non-emergency medical conditions Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and illnesses Complete workers' compensation documentation (PR-2, RFA, Work Status Reports, etc.) Perform employment-related physicals (pre-employment, DOT, return-to-work, etc.) Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient and compliant workflows Communicate with case managers, employers, and insurance adjusters as needed Document all encounters using EHR in a timely and accurate manner Adhere to clinic protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Active California Medical License in good standing Minimum of 2 years' experience in urgent care or occupational medicine preferred Experience with California Workers' Compensation regulations and documentation DEA license and current BLS certification required Familiarity with EHR systems (EPIC a plus) Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and time management skills Must be able to work on-site at our Abbott Salinas, CA Clinic. Available Monday - Friday, 8 am - 6 pm. Saturday-Sunday 8 am - 4 pm.
