Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a qualified Physician Assistant (PA) to join an onsite outpatient clinic in California. The role will primarily support Urgent Care and Primary Care services and is ideal for a clinically confident PA who is comfortable evaluating patients independently, performing minor procedures, completing physical examinations, and working in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The facility prefers a full-time provider working approximately five days per week but may consider candidates seeking a 3-4 day schedule . Weekday schedules are available, and weekend shifts may also be available.

This is a float/multi-site position supporting clinic locations within a reasonable geographic radius. The provider will most likely have a primary clinic location but must be willing and able to provide coverage at multiple nearby clinic locations as needed. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in an Urgent Care and/or Primary Care setting Perform comprehensive and focused physical examinations Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans Perform minor office-based procedures within scope of practice Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing Prescribe medications and provide patient education as appropriate Coordinate care and referrals when needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR/EHR system Collaborate with physicians and other clinical staff Maintain compliance with clinical, licensing, and regulatory standards Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current and valid Physician Assistant certification Active medical license; must be eligible to practice in California by the start date Active DEA license or eligibility to obtain one Current BLS certification
ALS/ACLS
certification as required by the facility Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in Urgent Care or Primary Care preferred Relevant specialty clinic experience may be considered depending on background Comfortable performing minor procedures and primary care physical examinations Proficient with EMR/EHR systems and general healthcare technology Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills Clean professional license and background Schedule Full-time, approximately 5 days per week preferred May consider 3-4 days per week Weekday schedules available Weekend shifts may also be available Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $87-$100+ per hour, depending on experience Average salary range: $195,000-$208,000, depending on experience Full benefits package available for eligible full-time employees Company-sponsored health plan, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options Paid Time Off (PTO) Company-sponsored malpractice insurance Full reimbursement for maintaining required licensure, board certification, DEA registration, and CME expenses Monthly provider incentive program based on factors such as clinic volume, patient satisfaction ratings, procedures conducted, PCP visits, and new referrals 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Relocation Candidates must be able to work onsite in California by their start date . Relocation assistance may be available for the right experienced candidate relocating from out of state. Preferred Bilingual ability is a plus. Preferred second languages include Spanish, Hindi/Punjabi, Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese), Vietnamese, and Tagalog.

Do you have at least 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in Urgent Care, Primary Care, or a related outpatient specialty? Are you comfortable independently performing patient evaluations, primary care physical examinations, and minor office-based procedures within your scope of practice? Are you able to work onsite in California by your start date? This is a float position that may require coverage at multiple nearby clinic locations within a reasonable radius.
