We are seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 120-day assignment in California, commencing Nov 30, 2026. This role involves covering clinic at two locations from 8a-5p, managing approximately 20 to 24 patients per 8-hour shift, and providing 24-hour call coverage from 730a-730a at a single hospital. The Physician will be responsible for a range of duties including high-risk deliveries, VBACs, and various inpatient and outpatient gynecological procedures, supported by in-house anesthesiology, hospitalists, and OB residents. Responsibilities and Duties Cover clinic at two distinct locations, managing approximately 20 to 24 patients per 8-hour shift. Provide 24-hour call coverage at one hospital, expecting approximately 3 to 4 deliveries per call shift. Perform high-risk deliveries and VBACs. Conduct outpatient procedures including endometrial biopsies, Nexplanon insertion/removal, IUD insertion/removal, colposcopy, and LEEP. Execute inpatient/surgical procedures such as C-sections, D&C, hysterectomy (laparoscopic or open), tubal ligation, polypectomy, and endometrial ablation. Collaborate with in-house anesthesiology, hospitalists, and OB residents for comprehensive patient care. Additional Information Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required. Experience with Athenahealth and Cerner EMR systems. Practice includes both inpatient and outpatient settings. Call schedule involves 24-hour shifts, typically from 730a to 730a, with an average of 3 to 4 deliveries per shift. Clinic volume averages 20 to 24 patients per 8-hour shift.
