Urgent Care Physician Stockton VA Clinic • Serve America's Veterans Physician - Urgent Care (Stockton, CA)
Organization:

Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Northern California Health Care System Location:
Stockton VA Clinic (Richard A. Pittman VA Clinic),
French Camp/Stockton, CA Position Snapshot Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 07:30-18:00 (variable to total ~36 clinical hours/week)
Salary:
$260,000 - $325,000 per year
Benefits:
50-55 days PTO/year, federal pension (5-year vest), 401(k) matching, comprehensive insurance, CME stipend ($1,000/year), liability protection Duties & Responsibilities Provide high-quality urgent care for Veterans-managing acute/chronic conditions across diverse patient populations Conduct diagnostics, procedures, orders, referrals, and medication management Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams-including specialty services and resident training Ensure compliance with VA policies, patient safety, and national clinical standards
Qualifications Medical Degree:
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Licensure:
Current, full, and unrestricted U.S. medical license
Residency:
Completed ACGME/AOA-accredited residency-Emergency Medicine strongly preferred; Family or Internal Medicine with significant EM experience accepted
Citizenship:
U.S. citizen (non-citizens eligible only if no qualified citizens available) Incentives & Professional Development Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP): Eligible for up to $200,000 over 1-5 years; application required within four months of start
