Job Summary:
The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking an Academic Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine physician. The position rank is commensurate with the selected candidate's academic level. The candidate will provide medical services in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Clinical care will be provided at Children's Hospital Colorado and potential sites within the network of care. Jobs in this career family work well in a team environment, relating effectively with patients, their families, and colleagues as well as possess strong teaching and academic interests.Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical responsibilities focused on the inpatient setting including service on the inpatient rehabilitation unit and inpatient rehabilitation consultation team
- Additional clinical duties may include participating in general rehabilitation clinics and multi-disciplinary clinics
- Teaching responsibilities include participating in the education of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine fellows, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residents, medical students, and physical therapy students
- Academic responsibilities include participation in quality improvement activities and actively pursuing and participating in other scholarly activities as well as mentoring residents and fellows
- Supports the continued growth of the department at

MD/DO from an accredited institution Board certified/Board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Board certified/Board eligible inPediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Associate Professor:
MD/DO from an accredited institution Board certified/Board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Board certified/Board eligible in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine 5 years experience in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Preferred Qualifications forAssistant Professor:
3 years experience inPediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
