Retina Surgery Opportunity in the Four Corners Region Join a high-volume, physician-owned ophthalmology practice that is recognized for its cutting-edge technology and growth-oriented environment. We are seeking a skilled Retina Surgeon to become part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing advanced eye care services. This is a unique opportunity to work in a respected community practice offering a clear partnership path.
Practice Overview:
You'll join a team of five physicians and three optometrists Work in a modern facility with access to advanced diagnostic tools Participate in optional clinical research through the Southwest Retinal Research Center Benefit from a high degree of surgical autonomy with multiple ASC partnerships
Schedule:
A four-day workweek with two days in Durango and one at a satellite location One dedicated surgery day per week Shared call responsibilities on a 1:6 rotation, phone-based with no hospital rounds Flexible scheduling to accommodate work-life balance
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary ranging from $500,000 - $600,000 Incentive model with 35% of net collections over threshold Two-year partnership track with ownership opportunities Comprehensive benefits including employer-paid health insurance, relocation assistance, and retirement plan
Candidate Requirements:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology Experience in vitreoretinal surgery preferred Eligible for licensure in both Colorado and New Mexico Comfortable with high patient volume and diverse surgical cases
