Job Description
Soar Autism Center is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services that support them to thrive. We prioritize early intervention, comprehensive supportive services, and positive, developmentally-appropriate learning that meets the needs of each unique child and family. Specifically, we focus on integrated autism care and a play-based model of ABA therapy based on the principles of the Early Start Denver Model. What you will be doing:
The Clinical Trainer is responsible for new trainee (BT/RBT) growth and development at one to two local centers after trainees complete one week of centralized training Support initial and ongoing RBT competency evaluations for new and existing RBTs Base pay: $95,500.00 - $105,500.00/year . Annual performance bonus potential up to $5,000. Additional compensation beyond the range for achieving clinical certifications.Bonus:
Up to $8,000 sign on bonus, based on start date and location. Support 3-4 case supervisors as they grow their clinical and decision making skills Provide weekly hours of billable supervision, focused on providing supervision to trainees during their first 6 weeks at Soar, and case supervisors preparing for the BCBA exam Host weekly group training and discussion sessions for new trainees at their home center Build trainees skill sets in ESDM practices and ABA strategies, including joint activity routines, responding to challenging behavior, data collection/documentation, and evidence based teaching strategies Completes monthlySTNH ESDM
Fidelity Checks for RBTs Hosts a section of the MDC bi-weekly to monthly that communicates with BCBAs what is needed from them to ensure adherence to supervision requirements Organize and host quarterly, center-level continuing education events for BCBAs and RBTs Collaborate with the Partner Clinician and Center Operations Director regarding RBT performance and needed performance improvement initiatives Act as a clinical leader in the center on days when the Partner Clinician is not present Achieve ESDM certification within 2 years of starting your role as a Clinical Trainer What we offer: Implement a unique model of ABA therapy!
