Position Summary The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join a dedicated and collaborative behavioral health team in Shelton, CT . This full-time, permanent opportunity offers a collegial practice environment with a strong emphasis on integrated care, clinical support, and work-life balance. Physicians will provide diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic oversights. Fresh graduates and recent residents are encouraged to apply! Essential Position Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and formulate individualized treatment plans. Provide ongoing medication management and supportive psychotherapy. Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, nurses, and primary care providers to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives. Promote preventive mental health strategies and community wellness efforts.
Qualifications Education:
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure & Certification:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
Experience:
Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates and residents are welcome to apply. Compensation and Benefits Highly competitive salary commensurate with experience.
