The facility is supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes oncologists, an APP, social workers, dieticians, clinic nurses, infusion nurses, and medical assistants to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery. Clinical operations are designed to support quality hematologic and oncologic care throughout the covered locum tenens assignment period. About the Facility Location Waterford, Connecticut is situated in the southeastern part of the state and offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural activities. The Connecticut coastal region features opportunities for kayaking, hiking through state parks, and exploration of scenic natural areas, as well as local dining and waterfront destinations. Clinicians will find varied recreational and leisure options throughout the region during their time on assignment. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide on-site hematology and oncology coverage at a hospital-based outpatient oncology clinic in Waterford, Connecticut, managing 10-15 patients per day during day shift hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or on a 4x10-hour schedule depending on candidate preference. The clinical scope encompasses the evaluation and management of general hematologic and oncologic conditions for an adult patient population, with no call or weekend obligations required. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the
EPIC EMR
system for patient encounters and treatment planning activities.
