Daytona Beach & Palm Coast, Florida, Neuro-Critical Care Physician Opportunity We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Critical Care Medicine physician to join a growing, multidisciplinary critical care program serving multiple hospital locations in the Daytona Beach and Palm Coast area. Candidates with additional Neuro-Critical Care board certification or board eligibility are preferred.
Practice full-scope Critical Care Medicine across medical/surgical and neuro-critical care ICUs along Florida's Atlantic Coast. Position Highlights 182 shifts per yearSeven-on / seven-off schedulePrimarily 7:00 AM-7:00 PM shiftsClosed ICU modelCoverage across medical/surgical and neuro-critical care ICUsRotating coverage among multiple hospital locations in the Daytona Beach and Palm Coast regionEstablished team of 10 Critical Care physicians and 12 Advanced Practice ProvidersStrong support from hospitalists, neurology, neurosurgery, and other subspecialty teamsNewly created role supporting expanded ICU coverageEpic EMR ICU Coverage The position includes rotating coverage across three hospital campuses:32-bed closed Medical/Surgical ICU and a new 24-bed Neuro ICU at a tertiary-care hospital with advanced cardiovascular and neuroscience programs, including a comprehensive stroke center18-bed closed Medical/Surgical ICU10-bed closed Medical/Surgical ICU within a newer, state-of-the-art hospital Night Coverage All intensivists participate in shared, in-house night coverage.
With the addition of two physicians, night call is expected to rotate approximately one week for every six work cycles, or roughly every 12 calendar weeks.
