Emergency Medicine Job Details:
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine Will consider Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with current Emergency Medicine experience 12-Bed Emergency Department with CT, X-ray, and Lab capabilities 24-hour physician coverage required with solo coverage Average patient census of 30 No APP coverage on site Ultrasound capabilities available (requires transfer) Consultants available at main hospital, typically including cardiology, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and nephrology

Meditech Facility:
This facility is a 65-bed general, acute care hospital offering a full range of medical services with the exception of Obstetrics. The emergency department is physician-staffed and operates 24 hours a day. The facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic and imaging technology including EEG/EKG, a GE Light Speed 16-slice CT scanner, GE Senographe DS Digital Mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy machine, intensive care and coronary care unit, nuclear medicine, open MRI, and a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center.
