Job Description
he Department of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at Nemours Children's Health is seeking an Academic Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon in Jacksonville, Florida. You will join a collaborative team of eight pediatric orthopedic surgeons and two pediatric non-operative physicians, as well as twelve advanced practice providers. The program also includes two Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) specialists, supported by three dedicated advanced practice providers within their service. Key Responsibilities Provide expert clinical care in pediatric orthopedics with a focus in sports medicine Work closely with multidisciplinary partners across orthopedics, rehabilitation, therapy, plastics, and sports medicine Contribute to education, quality improvement, clinical innovation, and outcomes-based care Participate in educational initiatives to training pediatric orthopedic fellow, residents, and medical students and strengthen academic affiliations with the University of Florida and Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. Qualifications Completion of an ACGME-accredited orthopedic surgery residency Completion of a pediatric orthopedic fellowship training Board certified or board eligible in orthopedic surgery Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA Commitment to family-centered, collaborative pediatric orthopedic care
