seeks an Otolaryngology Physician Associate to provide locum coverage in a Florida clinic and OR. In this role, you'll evaluate and manage ENT patients, assist in surgeries, perform approved in-office procedures, and coordinate pre- and postoperative care. You'll collaborate closely with otolaryngologists and multidisciplinary teams, utilize EMR systems, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Ideal candidates have ENT or surgical PA experience and can quickly adapt to new clinical environments and workflows. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive ENT evaluation and management in clinic, including history, physical exam, and treatment planning under physician supervision Assist in the operating room with ENT surgical procedures, including pre-op preparation, intraoperative assistance, and post-op care Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as audiograms, imaging, and labs to support otolaryngologic diagnoses Perform approved in-office procedures (e.g., ear cleaning, nasal endoscopy, minor procedures) within scope of practice Develop, document, and adjust patient care plans in collaboration with supervising otolaryngologists Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and postoperative care instructions Coordinate continuity of care with hospital staff, primary care, and specialty providers Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records and comply with all clinical documentation standards Adhere to clinical quality, safety, and infection-control protocols in clinic and OR settings Support coverage needs as a locum tenens provider, adapting quickly to new teams, workflows, and EMR systems Required Skills Advanced ENT clinical assessment Surgical first assist in ENT/ORPre- and postoperative patient management In-office ENT procedures Ordering and interpreting diagnostics Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation Patient and family education Perioperative protocols and sterile technique Care coordination in hospital/clinic settings Locum tenens practice adaptability
