Day APP at UMCAP - Largo, MD (FT) Adfinitas Health has a Full Time opening for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our Hospitalist team at University of Maryland Capital Region in Largo, Maryland. Position Details Our hospitalist team provides inpatient care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge. Heart & Vascular Institute with dedicated cardiac intensive care unit Designated Stroke Center Level II Trauma Center 2 Helipads including one large enough to accommodate Marine One 205 licensed beds in private rooms 32 Bed intensive care unit Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs Must have a Minimum of 18 months acute experience as an advanced practice provider in hospitalist or similar position. Must also be a graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program and carry an active Maryland state license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration University of Maryland Capital Region Located in Largo in the heart of Prince George's County, the new state-of-the-art regional medical center offers improved access to primary and ambulatory care services and serves as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients.
