Locum Cardiac Anesthesiologists needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Pineland Park, FL, Shift Times - 7am-5pm for dayshift and 5pm-7am for CV beeper call. FL license and DEA required. Emergency privs available with clean file (30 days).

1:3. Care team model. Physicians do 99% supervision. Self performing cases is uncommon. Physicians are expected to be present for Induction and Emergence, participate in post op-care, participate in pre-op evaluation of patient. This is a hands on practice.

Types of Cases:

Level II Trauma, Ortho, Spine, Vascular, limited Neuro, Endo, EP Lab. No OB, No Transplant.

Cardiac Case Load:

With TAVRs, mitral clips, CABG, etc, 10-12/week. 40-50/month. EP, watchman = 80/month.

Trauma Call:

In-house call shift starts at 3pm and runs to 7am. MDs will have a CRNA for the general OR/Trauma/IR cases. The post call day is off if you wish, some prefer to work.

EMR:

Medaxion (for anesthesia charting) Meditech for orders. Meditech for reviewing patient records. $2,000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 160 hours. $Competitive Rate weeknight call Premium if called in, Weekend Call equals 6 Regular Hours Per Day Premium When Called In. $Competitive Hourly pay + housing + car rental & gas + mileage (driving own car only) + parking + tolls + baggage fees + A++ rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
