Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Florida. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, and offers both day and night 12-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all emergency care procedures and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment utilizing Meditech EHR.

7a-7p, 7p-7a Responsibilities and Duties Demonstrate proficiency in all emergency care procedures, including central access, arterial line placement, lumbar puncture, intubation, pacing, and orthopedic stabilization Provide high-quality care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Document patient care using Meditech EHR Adhere to facility protocols and best practices in emergency medicine Additional Information Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine required Acceptable candidates may also include those with completed accredited residency in EM, or FM/IM with 3 years of relevant experience (for FSEDs only) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must hold a valid Florida medical license Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
