Seeking locum tenens Emergency Medicine physicians to provide acute care in Okeechobee, FL. Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency medical care across a range of acute conditions.

Perform comprehensive patient assessments:

history, physical exam, ordering/interpreting diagnostic studies. Initiate and manage treatment plans, including medication administration, procedural interventions, wound care, and minor procedures as indicated. Stabilize and triage patients, arrange dispositions (admission, transfer, discharge), and coordinate with consultants and EMS. Document care accurately and comply with facility policies and quality standards. Maintain timely communication with nursing and ancillary staff. Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM). Active, unrestricted Florida medical license. Current ACLS and PALS certifications. Prior ED clinical experience required for locum coverage. Strong clinical decision-making, procedural skills, and ability to work independently in variable emergency settings.
