Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic healthcare team in. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will focus on diagnosing, managing, and treating a broad spectrum of digestive system disorders. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through comprehensive clinical evaluations, innovative procedures, and collaborative care approaches. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant healthcare environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations of patients presenting with gastrointestinal symptoms. Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and upper GI endoscopies to diagnose and treat digestive conditions. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across specialties including radiology, surgery, oncology, and internal medicine to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology by engaging in clinical research and continuing medical education activities. Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care strategies. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care and optimize clinical outcomes. Qualifications Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology. Post-residency experience in gastroenterology, with proficiency in diagnostic radiology, medical imaging, and minimally invasive procedures. Demonstrated expertise in using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient management. Strong knowledge of physiology, pathology, and the latest treatment modalities within gastroenterology. Experience performing endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy. Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines including cardiology, dermatology, neurology, and surgery. Excellent communication skills with a commitment to delivering compassionate patient care. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and adherence to confidentiality standards.
