Local Team Collaboration:

Join our close-knit team of 8 physicians at UF Durbin Park Hospital. Brand new, state-of-the-art, 150-bed hospital slated to open in September 2026.

Qualifications:

ABIM- or ABFM-certified with prior hospitalist experience. Requires a minimum of 1 year of recent, previous hospitalist experience. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Authorization to work in the United States. This position does not sponsor J-1 or H-1 visa waivers.

Scheduling:

7-days-on, 7-days-off scheduling with flexibility for time off, e.g., attending conferences, vacation, etc. Opportunities for moonlighting bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

Cross-coverage calls on an ADC of 30-40 with 8 admissions/night. Help support the hospitalist team's efforts in utilization management, compliance, clinical documentation improvement, and patient satisfaction at UF Durbin Park. Collaborate with the hospitalist Director on performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance. Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings. Closed ICU with 24/7 Intensivist. No procedures. Living and Working in
