• 12-hour shifts
• Respond to all trauma codes, emergency general surgery, and round in the ICU
• Trauma admission rate is mainly blunt with 9% penetrating
• Call required
• 221-bed Acute Care Hospital
• Level II Trauma Center
• Annual average trauma admits: 1300
