Job Summary Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is currently accepting applications from qualified Nurse Practitioners (AGACNP) or Physician Assistants for an exciting Inpatient Gastroenterology opportunity in Sarasota, Florida. We are located in the highly desirable area of Sarasota, FL , which is on the West Coast of Florida and close to some of the most beautiful beaches in the country
- Siesta Key, Lido Key and Longboat Key.
Opportunity Highlights:
Full-time, inpatient hospitalist role at SMH- Sarasota only.
EPIC Requirements:
Inpatient APP experience is preferred ; however, all qualified applicants will be considered. Graduate from accredited APRN or PA program Certification in professional specialty Licensed or eligible for licensure inFlorida BLS Benefits Highlights:

- Require bachelor degree from accredited physician assistant training program
- Require current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Prefer demonstrated written & verbal communication & strong analytical skills
- Prefer ability to work independently and effectively with physicians and other allied health personnel in the hospital and/or office setting
- Prefer demonstrated clinical competency skills
- Prefer demonstrated knowledge of pharmacology as it relates to health care practice and current prescription writing skills/DEA licensing
- Prefer demonstrated skills in documentation in medical records to substantiate accurate billing
- Prefer effective interaction skills to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting
- Prefer effective leadership and strong interpersonal skills
- Prefer knowledge of relevant state and federal laws, statutes and regulations
- Prefer knowledge of state, federal and local health care agencies and programs.
