The Department of Family Medicine at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to join our dynamic orthopedic and sports medicine team. This role offers a diverse clinical practice with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care across orthopedic clinic settings, concussion management, athletic medicine, and primary care sports medicine. \n Medical Doctor with completion of an accredited Primary Care residency (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics) and fellowship training in Sports Medicine. \n Board-certified or board-eligible in Sports Medicine. Education:
Provide comprehensive patient care in sports and family medicine, including evaluation and management of musculoskeletal injuries and concussions. Participate in resident didactic education and support undergraduate medical education initiatives in collaboration with department leadership. Opportunities to engage in athletic team coverage, including involvement with •National Collegiate Athletic Association athletic programs. \n
Clinical:
The primary focus of this role is to support the sports medicine clinical operation as assigned within department. \n
Other Duties:
As Assigned. \n Responsible to a Chair or other appropriate higher-level administrator of a State university. Responsible for teaching, research, service, and related administrative activities. Responsible for academic advising and related activities. May represent the university, college/school, or department. \n
