Oncology Surgery Advanced Practitioner Locums Job in Georgia | Weekend Coverage Need Jackson + Coker

- November 6-9, 13-16, 20-23, 27-30
- December 4-7, 11-14, 18-21, 25-28 Details for Assignment #116963: 5PM Friday-8AM Monday covering weekend call Need all weekends covered above Active Georgia License required Board Certified General Surgery required Experience in Surgical Oncology and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery required Assignment includes inpatient coverage, OR time, and hospital call coverage Team structure: Will work alongside 4-5 physicians with APP support available Surgical cases will primarily involve first assist responsibilities
Specific Responsibilities:
- First assist with OR cases which range from ex laps to whipples or liver resections, both open and robotic
- Rounding with the team on inpatients and consults
- 30+ high acuity patients
- Seeing new consults or admissions and coordinating care with intermittent APP support from Saturday at 7 am
- Sunday at 6 pm
- Case volume is ~1 per weekend
- Take calls for inpatients and consults during above hours
- All surgical bookings will come through the attending surgeon on call.
