Job Description

Physician Practice Partnership - On-Site Specimen Collection Services Prestige MedCare, LLC Atlanta, GA Job Details Contract $1,200 a month 21 hours ago Qualifications Direct patient care Mid-level Collecting samples for laboratory testing Decision making Full Job Description Job Overview Prestige MedCare is expanding its physician-practice network throughout Georgia and is seeking established medical practices interested in offering convenient on-site respiratory specimen collection to their patients. This opportunity is designed for physicians and medical practices that see patients who may require respiratory laboratory testing as part of their normal course of care. How the Program Works Prestige MedCare coordinates trained specimen-collection personnel who work on-site within participating physician practices. When the treating provider determines that laboratory testing is medically necessary and orders an appropriate test, the on-site collector can collect the patient's respiratory specimen according to established collection and handling protocols. Specimens are then prepared and transported to Prestige MedCare's contracted reference laboratory for testing. The treating physician maintains independent clinical judgment regarding whether testing is appropriate for each patient. Potential Practice Benefits Convenient on-site specimen collection for patients. Dedicated collection personnel. Reduced specimen-collection workload for existing clinical staff. Coordinated specimen handling and laboratory logistics. Established collection and documentation procedures. Laboratory results returned through the appropriate clinical reporting process. Who We're Looking For We are interested in speaking with established Georgia physician practices, including primary care and other practices whose patient populations may appropriately require respiratory diagnostic testing. Participating physicians must maintain all applicable professional licenses and remain responsible for their independent medical decision-making and patient care.
