Job Description

Overview CVP is seeking Breast Imaging Radiologists to join our team in providing our Nation's Veterans with high-quality onsite radiological services at the Atlanta VA Medical Center located at 1670 Clairmont Road Decatur, GA 30030. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Responsibilities Provide onsite breast imaging radiology services to VA patients Interpret and report on Mammography, Breast ultrasound, Breast MRI Perform and/or guide diagnostic breast imaging procedures Identify, evaluate, and diagnose breast abnormalities, including malignancies Review imaging orders and next‑day cases as needed (minimum 2 hours daily) Provide clinical consultation to referring providers regarding imaging results and care plans Communicate test results to patients and providers per VHA Directive 1088 Participate in post‑procedure follow‑up and complication management Document all care in the VA Electronic Health Record (EHR) in compliance with VA policy Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) and Quality Assurance (QA) activities Attend required meetings with quality improvement, service leadership and staff Complete peer reviews (approximately 4 hours per month) Maintain patient safety and infection control standards Follow all VA policies and procedures regarding patient care, documentation, and confidentiality Qualifications Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust government security clearance; US Citizenship is required Active, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory Board Certified in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Active DEA license NPI report printout Experience with diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures Proficient in the use of electronic medical records systems Physically capable of standing for long periods of extended time, lifting and/or transferring up to 50 lbs Location Atlanta VA Medical Center located at 1670 Clairmont Road Decatur, GA 30030. Shift Working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
