Shifts:

12-hour shifts with both day and night coverage required Patient volume: About 54,000 ED visits per year ED setup: 28 bays in a Level III Trauma Center Admission rate: Roughly 15% Patient mix: Typical community / sole-community-hospital population Triage and support: Nurse/APP triage for lower-acuity patients and standard ED clinical support staff available Key responsibilities Provide comprehensive emergency care for patients across all acuity levels Evaluate, diagnose, stabilize, and treat medical and traumatic emergencies appropriate to a Level III trauma center Perform emergency procedures and clinical interventions as needed Work collaboratively with nurses, APPs, and the broader ED team Make appropriate decisions to admit, transfer, or discharge patients Complete timely, accurate documentation of patient care Requirements Board Certification in Emergency Medicine —
