Job Description

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive health services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team at Baldwin State Prison located in Hardwick, Georgia. The Psychiatrist works within a multi-disciplinary team to provide behavioral health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a correctional setting. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry Active and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain licensure Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration Ability to pass credentialing and background check Available Shift 10 hours per week Weekdays Day Shift We offer excellent compensation and benefits for our part-time team members, including: 401(k) with company match Company paid malpractice insurance Centurion Health contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
