Locums About the Facility This inpatient hospital facility is located in Lawrenceville, Georgia, within the northern region of the state, and provides vascular surgery services under an established call coverage model. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and protocols necessary to support locum tenens surgical coverage on a weekend rotation basis. On-site resources, including APP support, are in place to facilitate coordinated patient care throughout each assigned coverage period. About the Facility Location The Lawrenceville, Georgia area offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions. Water activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and tubing are available on Lake Lanier and the Chattahoochee River, both accessible from the area. The region also features shopping destinations, dining, and proximity to the broader attractions of the greater Atlanta metro area for clinicians during time away from the assignment. About the Clinician's Workday The vascular surgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage one weekend per month, beginning Friday at 5:00 PM and concluding Monday at 7:00 AM, with daily rounding on Saturday and Sunday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, shared with the NVS APP. The clinician will respond in a timely manner to pages and calls to assess emergent need, provide inpatient and ER consults as indicated, and perform operative intervention as required for patient care. Non-emergent needs may be deferred to NVS staff on the following business day. Board certification in Vascular Surgery and recent inpatient experience are required for consideration.
