•Flexible Schedule, In-House Call Provide OB hospitalist coverage with flexible monthly scheduling and a broad mix of routine and high-risk obstetric care. Highlights Flexible monthly scheduling Approximately six shifts per month High-risk obstetric case mix One to two certified nurse midwives available Practice & Cases Inpatient OB hospitalist coverage with approximately 65-80 deliveries per month Routine and high-risk pregnancies, labor and delivery, and emergency OB and GYN consults Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, VBACs, and complicated deliveries Work alongside OB physicians, nurses, operating room staff, and residents when available Schedule 24-hour in-house call shifts Weekday availability required Weekend coverage also available Ongoing monthly coverage Requirements Must be an MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active Iowa medical license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification ACLS, DEA, and NRP required Logistics Airfare and lodging provided Rental car and mileage provided We can discuss how the approximately six monthly 24-hour OB hospitalist shifts fit your weekday and weekend availability.
