Locums About the Facility This inpatient facility in Iowa provides obstetric and gynecologic services, supporting a regional patient population with an average delivery volume of 65-80 births per month. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows to support continuous inpatient and emergency OB/GYN care delivery. Clinical operations are conducted on-site in accordance with day shift and 24-hour in-house call coverage requirements. About the Facility Location Iowa offers a range of regional attractions and recreational opportunities suited to varied interests, including outdoor recreation, historical and cultural sites, and community events accessible throughout its many communities. The state features scenic destinations, local live music, and community celebrations available across its regions. Clinicians on assignment will find accessible options for leisure and exploration throughout the state during their time away from the facility. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide obstetric and gynecologic coverage through day shift and 24-hour in-house call assignments at an on-site inpatient facility in Iowa, operating on a 1:5 call ratio. Clinical responsibilities include triage and delivery of OB patients at an average volume of 65-80 deliveries per month, coverage of
ER OB/GYN
calls, and rounding on inpatient OB/GYN patients. Clinicians will also manage no-doc patients at an approximate rate of one or fewer per day, and may perform circumcisions where applicable. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required for this position.
