Critical Care Opening in Sioux City, Iowa Join a collaborative critical care team providing high-acuity inpatient care in a closed ICU setting with strong specialty support and flexible scheduling options. About the Opportunity Closed ICU with comprehensive specialty support including cardiology, neurosurgery, nephrology, general/trauma surgery, orthopedics, urology, GI, pulmonology, infectious disease, neurology, and more. A 24/7 hospitalist program manages admitted inpatients. Overnight support provided by APPs. Responsibilities
  • Average 8-14 patients per day
  • On-site from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with call from home 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Full-time defined as 182 shifts per year
  • Flexible scheduling available (7 on/7 off, 10 on/10 off)
  • Work collaboratively to improve patient and community health
  • Interpret clinical data and make care decisions and recommendations
  • Patient-focused, friendly, and team-oriented approach

  • MD or DO
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care
  • Eligible for unrestricted Iowa medical license
  • State and federal prescribing authority required
  • Eligible to work in the United States
