Locums About the Facility This clinic-based facility provides specialized endocrinology services in a structured on-site setting in Illinois. The facility operates with dedicated support staff, including one APP, to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery. Established clinical protocols and appropriate resources are in place to support locum tenens clinicians during assigned coverage periods. About the Facility Location Southern Illinois offers a range of outdoor recreation opportunities, including fishing, boating, hiking, rock climbing, and wildlife viewing across its lakes, forests, and parks. The region features notable natural areas and preserves, as well as opportunities to explore local history through museums, historic sites, and community events such as festivals and live entertainment. About the Clinician's Workday The endocrinologist will provide clinic-based endocrinology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, covering 2 weeks per month at an on-site facility in Illinois. The clinician will manage 12-15 patients per day, addressing conditions that include hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, Graves' disease, thyroid nodules, pituitary disorders, and diabetes for an adult patient population. Call coverage is required as part of this assignment. All clinical documentation is to be completed using the
EPIC EMR
system.
