Job Description

SIHAT Health is working directly with Carle Health in Urbana, Illinois on a long-term inpatient heart failure coverage need. This opportunity is open to general cardiologists with strong heart failure experience. Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant board certification is not required. The focus is primarily inpatient medical heart failure management. This is not a procedure-heavy role, and LVAD and transplant patients are generally transferred out.

1 2 weeks per month ongoing
Start:
Approximately 60 days for credentialing
Position Type:
Locums Clinical Scope Primarily inpatient heart failure service Daily rounding and consults Management of medically complex heart failure patients Many patients receiving IV drips and advanced medical therapy Some clinic involvement depending on the schedule NP support in place Teaching environment with fellows and residents LVAD and transplant patients generally transferred out No heavy procedural requirement Candidate Profile Carle is looking for a cardiologist who is comfortable managing complex inpatient heart failure patients. Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant fellowship training or board certification is welcome but not required.
Strong candidates may include:
