Job Description

Position:
Full-Time Family Physician Overview:
We are seeking a full-time, relationship-centered family physician to join our team at a new health center in Machesney Park, IL, in partnership with the Harlem Co. School District. We are looking for a primary care physician to lead our team, providing high-quality care to employees and their families.
Position Details:
Patient Population:
Employees and families of all ages, with a focus on acute and primary care, emphasizing preventive medicine
Care Team:
MD, Medical Assistant (MA), Registered Nurse (RN)
Schedule:
40 hours per week, with a proposed schedule as follows:
Monday:
8:00 AM•6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Tuesday:
7:00 AM•5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Wednesday:
9:00 AM•7:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Thursday:
7:00 AM•5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Friday:
8:00 AM•12:00 PM (4 hours) No nights, no call, and no weekends
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary:
$240,000•$275,000 per year (negotiable based on experience and FTE)
Benefits:
5 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) Full health, life, and disability insurance 401(k) plan CME reimbursement up to $3,000 per year, with 40 hours of time off for CME (pro-rated) Full reimbursement for medical licensing and DEA Malpractice coverage starting from day one
Selling Points:
Average of 8-14 patients per day More time spent with patients to build relationships and trust Less time spent on ICD-10 coding and administrative work, with built-in admin time Opportunity to improve patient outcomes with a finite patient panel
Annual Visits:
60 minutes
Follow-Up Visits:
30 minutes
Job Requirements:
Education:
MD or DO, board-certified (or eligible) in Family Medicine, or both
Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Skills:
Comfortable performing well-woman exams and prescribing birth control (a plus)
Experience:
Procedure experience (a plus)
