License Medical License Full Job Description PRN medical position at a 125-bed facility in Springfield, Illinois, offering shifts Monday to Thursday nights (5 pm - 8 am) and weekends (Friday 5:30 pm to Monday 8 am). Providers receive a furnished call room with amenities and are on-site during shifts. Perform evaluations for admission, initial history, physical exams, and develop treatment plans. Order lab studies, provide care to adult inpatients, and document findings. Attend to employee injuries, respond to emergencies, and make hospital referrals. Review restraint orders, respond to patient emergencies, and assist with occasional admissions. Call duties include assessing restraints, responding to falls/emergencies, and supporting admissions and transfers. Physician must hold current Illinois license, Controlled Substance, and DEA certificates, and be board eligible/certified. Requires recent negative Mantoux test or documentation. Compensation ranges from $1,100 to $1,125 per day with a flexible schedule.
