7 Bloomington, IN Job Details 5 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree in nursing Master's degree Advanced practice provider Cross-functional communication Full Job Description The Indiana University Health Medical Group is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Radiology team serving IU Health Bloomington Hospital and IU Health Bedford Hospital. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of radiologists and multidisciplinary providers delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across inpatient and outpatient setting. This person will play an integral role in evaluating patients, performing image-guided procedures, coordinating care, and managing patients throughout the continuum of radiology services. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Interventional Radiology, procedural medicine, or a related specialty, with a strong interest in minimally invasive image-guided procedures. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform a variety of image-guided and minimally invasive radiology procedures including: Tunneled central venous catheter removals Gastrointestinal fluoroscopic procedures Thoracentesis Paracentesis Lumar Punctures Joint injections and aspirations Ultrasound-guided soft tissue and organ biopsies Additional procedural responsibilities may be assigned based on candidate training, competency, and departmental needs. Work closely with radiologists, hospitalists, specialists, nursing, and ancillary teams. Contribute to exceptional patient experience and outcomes. Qualifications Master's of Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Active or eligible Indiana licensure. Board certified NP / PA Prior Interventional Radiology experience preferred Experience performing minimally invasive procedures and image-guided interventions. Strong procedural skills and ability to work independently within established protocols.
