Lead Hospitalist Physician Indiana Full-Time BAS Healthcare is assisting with the recruitment of a Lead Hospitalist Physician to join and help oversee an established hospital medicine program in Indiana. Lebanon, IN is just 30 minutes away from the city of Indianapolis Opportunity Highlights Full-time hospital-employed position 7 days on / 7 days off schedule 12-hour day shifts Mix of clinical care and hospitalist leadership responsibilities Opportunity to influence operations, quality, and team development Clinical Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients Manage admissions, daily rounding on medical/surgical units and CCU, and discharges

• Help run codes on the unit with support of in-house intensivist and emergency room physicians. Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and care management teams Support patient-centered care initiatives and efficient throughput
• You would be overseeing 5 hospitalists.
• There is 24-hour APP coverage
• No night requirement for this role, but weekend coverage would be needed.
