Job Description

Location:
Mooresville, IN Overview:
Join a hospital-based OB/GYN team focused on improving patient safety and satisfaction by providing expert care to every pregnant patient who presents to the facility. Work collaboratively with local obstetricians while maintaining a strong work/life balance.
Compensation and Schedule:
Salary:
$300,000-$340,000 per year plus full benefits Typical schedule: full-time hospitalist; create-your-own schedule Shift model: usually 7-9, 24-hour shifts per month (about 21 days off each month) No office management duties and no community on-call obligations
Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care Manage obstetric emergencies and urgent inpatient OB/GYN needs Coordinate care with local obstetricians, nursing staff, and ancillary services Participate in quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives

Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Indiana medical license or ability to obtain licensure Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric emergencies and provide high-quality inpatient care Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered skills Commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement This role offers clinical autonomy, predictable time off, and the chance to impact maternal and newborn outcomes.
