Orthopedic Surgery - Major Health Partners Professional & Technical Skills Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship training in joint replacement (preferred but not required) Active or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Indiana Provide comprehensive general orthopedic care Perform hip and knee joint replacement surgeries Diagnose and manage fractures and other acute injuries Participate in shared ED call coverage Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Full time Immediate need Clinic 2 days/ week, OR 2 days/ week, and off 1 day Take call every 5th weekend and 1 day each weekday. The non-operative doctors will reach out to the surgeons if they feel there is a surgical situation, but it is rare that someone has to physically come into the hospital while on call. Most of it is done virtually or by phone. Multi-specialty group Hospital employed The average patients seen in clinic per day is 20.
