Job Description

About Us:
American Medical Administrators (AMA) is a multi-location healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team and provide quality medical services across several of our clinics, Kennett, Hayti, and Steele, Missouri.
Responsibilities:
Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient medical records, including evaluations, medications, treatments, allergies, test results, and other pertinent documentation. Evaluate patient symptoms, perform examinations, and determine the most appropriate treatment plans. Prescribe medications in compliance with state and federal regulations, while ensuring patients are informed of potential risks, complications, and interactions. Supervise and evaluate Medical Assistants to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and the effectiveness of care programs. Provide patient education and consultation on preventive health, nutrition, fitness, and hygiene to support informed decision-making. Rotate between multiple clinic locations to provide care coverage as needed.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board Certification/Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state(s) of practice. DEA certification. Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in primary care or outpatient clinic settings. Ability to manage patient care across multiple locations.
