Emergency Medicine/Hospitalist APP | Balanced Schedule | Critical Access Hospital | Southeast Kansas Not-for-profit medical center in Southeast Kansas seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our dynamic, highly skilled medical team. This is a unique APP, ER position with in-patient hospitalist component. You'll enjoy a balanced schedule and be welcomed by a compassionate, future-focused rural community. Key highlights:
ER:
only required to be at hospital when ER patient presents
ER:
must live or relocate to within a 20-minute response to hospital Supportive, team-based culture with low provider turnover
Hospitalist:
coverage runs concurrent with ER schedule - consists of rounding and call

System Participation Work Schedule/Responsibilities/Team :
48 hours per week with Hospitalist coverage during same time Hospitalist component consists of rounding and call time with average daily census 3.2 patients Work alongside a talented and collaborative team including: General Surgeon 2 Family Medicine Physicians 2 Podiatrists 2 ER physicians Visiting Specialty Clinic Providers 6
Advanced Practice Providers Qualifications/Education & Experience Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited MSN, DNP or PA program ER experience preferred but not required Kansas medical license or ability to obtain Desire to provide comprehensive, compassionate care in a rural community setting About KRRC The Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center (KRRC) partners with hospitals, private practices, community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and other organizations to help strengthen the health care workforce in rural and urban under resourced communities across the State. KRRC services are designed to assist Kansas communities in recruiting and retaining physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, APRNs, nurses, dental hygienists, allied health professionals, and behavioral health professionals. In addition to offering recruitment support for Kansas health care facilities and job search support to a variety of health care providers, the KRRC offers resources for CV/resume building, interview prep, and contract negotiation. Currently partnering with 55+ health care organizations, we serve as their initial point of contact and liaison in recruiting those seeking to serve in rural and urban underserved communities.
